We invited Satoshi as well

Dear Mr Nakamoto,

Hope this note finds you well – we do not know each other but we have been among the greatest supporters of your work since its inception. We believe in the power of decentralization – we trust the system you have developed, Bitcoin, can make the world a better, more equitable place for all. We believe it has been time to democratize finance and finally break down the limitations of our traditional financial systems – Bitcoin is about to address all these restrictions. What’s more, with Bitcoin in our hands, we have a powerful tool to build resistance against authoritarian financial measures, such as corruption, unhinged money printing and other peremptory decisions.

We believe that Bitcoin brings a revolutionary change in the world. It will help us create a more fair, inclusive and efficient economy, ranging from transparent elections to better logistics and many more, all supporting greater social justice.

Bitcoin serves as a crucial next chapter in the history of technology and financial systems. With Bitcoin, we have only scratched the surface yet but there is no doubt this technology will drive transparency and efficiency across the entire global economy. Whatever the future brings for the cryptocurrency market, we are positive that programmable digital assets will most likely stay with us for decades, helping us not only democratize our financial infrastructure and other systems but fostering liberty, prosperity and self-sovereignty worldwide.

As a token of gratitude, we have decided to honor your work and legacy with a bronze bust to be erected in Budapest, Hungary. We are pleased to invite you to the unveiling of your bust on 16 September 2021 in Graphisoft Park, Budapest.

We look forward to your positive response and meeting you in person in September.
